The Pride in Local Music event started at the onset of the covid pandemic when the world shut down. We knew that we needed to support our creative economy in Austin. We reached out to our sister music city of Nashville and partnered with the Nashville LGBT Chamber to produce the first Pride in Local Music streaming event. We did it again in 2021 as a hybrid event. In 2022,  the Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce brought you the first ever in person full stage produced Pride in Local Music festival at The Long Center!
